Making the world more beautiful one room at a time, Lance applies his extensive design experience towards transforming commonplace spaces into extraordinary rooms. Owner and award-winning interior designer of Decorating Den Interiors serving Fort Lauderdale and Cape Cod, his custom design work provides tailor-made solutions reflecting his clients’ personalities and lifestyles. Imbued with an air of sophisticated seaside and tropical influences, his designs range from sleek modern to cozy traditional.

A multi-award-winning interior designer, Lance received three awards from Decorating Den Interiors (DDI) for his design of a great room for the home of a physician in Fort Lauderdale. He won first-place honors receiving the Patti Award, awarded by DDI’s certified interior designers, as the top designer from among a group of thirteen talented freshman designers. He also won second-place honors in The People’s Choice Awards – voted by the public – and third place in the Donayre Awards in a vote by his DDI peers. In addition, Lance won Best Living Room Great Room Design in Gulfstream Media Group’s Design Awards. The room featured in three of Gulfstream Media Group’s magazines: Boca LifeGold Coast and Fort Lauderdale.

Education and Reach

A student of design, photography, and art history, Lance studied interior design at the Boston Architectural College in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned a Certificate in Professional Photography from The Center for the Media Arts Germain School of Photography and studied graphic design at the Pratt Institute, both located in Manhattan. Fun Fact: While a student at New York University, Lance studied alongside Tom Ford in an art history elective: Exploring Architecture in New York.

A resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lance also maintains a professional presence on Cape Cod, where he has provided design services to Joseph Carr, founder of Joseph Carr Wines and others. Lance maintains a residence in Provincetown, Massachusetts where he recently demonstrated his design expertise in a reimagining of the Club Room of the Crowne Pointe Hotel and Spa where he designed the fanciful rope and chain wallcovering: Entwined ML1050.
