Fee Schedule

I offer an evolution in interior design – Design for Life – that serves to transform the homes and lives of my clients. And freedom of full self expression remains the core intention for my clients, myself, and the world. Review my service offerings and see which best meets you and your projects needs.

1. Full-Service Interior Design and Decorating

After the Discovery Call and upon our initial On-site Assessment Meeting, for a fee of $500, I conduct:

a) A review of your project goals

b) A Walkthrough – on-site or virtual – of the spaces to be decorated and

c) A creation of a Price Range Sheet. The Price Range Sheet provides you with the cost range – per item – from low (“Good”) to high (“Best”) that you may spend on your furnishings acquisition.

Deciding to move forward, I then collect a Design Service Fee. The Design Service Fee is based on room size and scope of the design project for each room. This fee covers Product Selection and Design Creation and Presentation costs. Included in this fee is one round of design and product selection revisions. Additional rounds of revision are charged at an hourly rate. The Design Service Fee is non-refundable.

Product Pricing includes cost of goods, manufacture, shipping, delivery and installation.

2. Design from a Distance

Enjoying the opportunity to share my gift for design with those of you at a distance, I offer Design from a Distance. With a majority of the work completed virtually and remotely, I often need only arrive for the install and reveal. That said, I will visit with you at your location whenever we agree necessary.

Standard Expenses

3. Design Consultation

For an hourly fee of $500 per hour, I also provide design Consultation Services. The amount of time and money spent is based on the scope of your project. An eight-hour day rate is also available for $2,400 per day and a four-hour half day rate is $1,200.

Consultation Services include:

  • selecting paint colors and wallcoverings
  • evaluation and re-use of existing home furnishings
  • selecting finish and surface (i.e., bathroom and kitchen tile, flooring, hardware, sinks, faucets and appliances).

The eight-hour full day and four-hour half day rates cover such services as accompanying clients on shopping trips. Under this type of agreement, you will purchase your products from your sources independently. These rates also cover my time shopping locally or online for additional accessories and items for the home. The cost of these additional items are paid by the client at the time of review, selection and/or installation and are bound by the suppliers’ sales terms and agreements. Variations depend on price and whether purchased in-store or online.

NOTE: Sometimes a project may begin under a standard Retail Pricing agreement then segue to a Design Consultation one or vice-versa. This depends on the needs of the project at any given time in the design, purchase and execution process.

4. Project Management

Sometimes clients seek assistance with renovation, remodeling or repair projects as an integral part of an interior design project. Whether clients live at a distance, travel for work or simply prefer to leave project management oversight responsibilities of tradesmen to a third party, I offer project management services at an hourly rate to meet these needs. Minimum fees apply and may be priced at an initial lump sum to cover a significant investment of time. Fees may then segue to an hourly basis or a renegotiated lump sum to cover additional project management time. A renegotiation may also be based on the addition of responsibilities caused by project schedule overruns.
